Lotus & Lily NL
Supporting you through pregnancy, infertility, postpartum, and birth-related challenges—the joys, the uncertainties, and everything in between.
Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, infertility, or the aftermath of a traumatic birth, the emotional impact can feel overwhelming. You are not alone—and Lotus & Lily NL is here to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.
Hi, I’m Kayla — the heart behind Lotus & Lily. I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor, mother of two, and a birth trauma survivor based in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
My journey to motherhood revealed gaps in support for women’s mental health. Lotus & Lily was created to help bridge the gap, offering compassionate, trauma-informed support to women navigating reproductive and maternal experiences.
Here, your story matters.

Emotional wellbeing and identity changes during the reproductive journey
Exploring family planning decisions including whether or when to have children
Infertility and reproductive challenges
Pregnancy after loss
How I Can Help
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care that honours your lived experience. Together, we may work to:
Process difficult or overwhelming experiences related to fertility, pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, giving space to explore the emotions and challenges that can feel heavy or isolating.
Explore complex emotions such as grief, anxiety, uncertainty, or loss, helping you feel seen, heard, and supported as you navigate them.
Prepare for birth and plan for postpartum, including practical strategies and emotional preparation to help you feel more confident and supported during this transition.
Develop coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, or other intense emotions, tailored to what works best for you and your unique journey.
Reflect on identity shifts and the evolving experience of motherhood, making space to explore how these changes impact your sense of self and your relationships.
Every person’s journey is different, and our work will be guided by what feels most meaningful and supportive for you. You don’t have to face these challenges alone—support is available at every step.
